The monster dictionary is a very useful tool, both for those just choosing their character's race, or for those reading up on another race. There are a few easy things to remember about the monster dictionary.

The monster dictionary has 3 main uses.

1. To detail well known facts about the species
   
2. To keep a record for admins and users both, of which characters happen to be ap part of that race
   
3. To keep a record of those of the race who have died.

1- At the top of each post you will se a block of text pertaining to the species of monster. This is the well known information known to the general public. Text hiden in spoilers, is information which generally, only members of that species tend to know, however, it can be relayed through discussion during an rp, to someone who is not of that species.

2- In each post, there is a list of "List of known species" This is a detaile dlist of all the characters approved under that species. This is not only for our records, but for the "schools records", and also for the records of general members of the site. Any names appearing in yellow are the names of canon character that fall under that species. BEside a name in square parenthesis, you will find the name of any club or group the monster may be in, liek [Anti-Thesis] or [Newspaper Club]. Also, names that are in normal text are those that are generally known ICly to be of that species, those in Italics, are monsters who are not known IC, but are on the list for record OoC.

3- Found in the list of characters falling under a certain species, you may also see names with a strikeout through them. These are old characters who were of this species, and have died. They are simply left here as a record, and a sort of history of the site. It may be nice to have a record later on, so a nostalgic member can look back and see names of an old character they controlled.
